Mt. Juliet, TN Vista Points - The Special Needs Trust & Resource Center - is very excited to introduce its new Mt. Juliet location!
"Because the city is rich with tradition and suitable to handle the traffic demands from nearby towns, this location was a perfect choice for Vista Points. Mt. Juliet is a great place to locate a business and, at the same time, enjoy a quiet, hometown lifestyle. The community delivers what many areas only promise: small-town life located between two sparkling lakes, all in close proximity to Nashville with easy access to Interstate 40," said Executive Director Darlene Kemp, MPH, MBA-HCM.
Vista Points is celebrating its 11th year of helping people living with disabilities. As a non-profit organization, Vista Points is able to offer support and encouragement to families who are either in the process of establishing a trust or those who are trying to become acclimated to the procedures associated with their personal trust. Administering a trust account is a demanding process which can be tiring and time-consuming. Caregivers and beneficiaries depend on Vista Points to provide speedy service and accurate information, thereby removing any worries from the equation.
As Tennessee's only Special Needs Trust and Resource Center, everything the organization does is focused on helping people living with disabilities; their parents, spouses and caregivers, as well as the professionals who serve and guide them. The organization helps people become aware and learn about the many benefits of Special Needs Trusts while guiding them to qualified professionals who can assist in their time of need. These resources and referrals help individuals plan for the future, while maximizing today's quality of life.
Vista Points serves attorneys and other professionals who support people living with disabilities by offering expert guidance in the highly specialized field of Special Needs Trusts. Professionals may find that providing trustee services for Special Needs Trusts fall outside their core competency. Attorneys have an obligation to advise clients with a long-term disability about the impact of financial settlements on their eligibility for Medicaid and other public benefits. These resources are essential for those who face ongoing medical care.
"Vista Points is a connection between people living with disabilities and attorneys who specialize in elder care or special needs law. The organization is a referral source for the entire United States, dedicated to raising awareness and promoting the advantages of Special Needs Trusts to those who will benefit most, including people living with disabilities, caregivers and the professionals who serve and guide them," Kemp explained.
