Date set for Cheekwood's native plant sale

One-day-only event to be sponsored by the Garden Club of Nashville

Cheekwood's fourth annual Native Plant Sale is set for Saturday, March 31. Gates open at 9:30 a.m., and the sale begins at 10 a.m. Metro Creative Connection

— The early bird definitely catches the worm at Cheekwood's fourth annual Native Plant Sale. Hosted by the Garden Club of Nashville, the annual sale will be held on Saturday, March 31 at Cheekwood. The Native Plant Sale offers an extraordinary variety of wildflower treasures perfect for local gardens. The sale benefits the Howe Garden at Cheekwood.

The Native Plant Sale is a one-day-only sale inside Cheekwood's Botanic Hall and features more than 50 varieties of plants, including wild ginger, Virginia bluebells and celandine poppies. There will also be an exquisite assortment of select native shrubs and flowering trees, which offer stunning springtime blooms and gorgeous fall color.

The sale begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until all plants are sold. Gates open at 9:30 a.m., and Cheekwood's regular gate admission applies. For more information, visit www.cheekwood.org.
